News - Field experiment of the flexible coupling concluded

After years of conceptualizing, planning, preparing and transportation, the field test could finally commence in the late autumn of 2021 just before the start of the winter and the heavy snowfall! The GeConnect flexible coupling field experiment was transported to the Hellisheidi geothermal field right next to an active geothermal production well. Since no infrastructure was available on site, we organized our remote office in a mobile monitoring container (see pictures below) powered by a diesel generator.

The results of the field experiment will be presented on this years European Geothermal Congress 2022 in Berlin, Germany under the title:
